My name is Yvonne. I’m a multi-disciplinary designer, from Oslo, Norway, but I've been based in Brooklyn, NY for the past 10 years.
My expertise lies in digital, interactive experiences, and product design, but my experience over the years has taught me the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach and mindset. Balancing user needs, research, interaction models, service design, design craft, and immersive storytelling, I strive to create delightful experiences that engage and connect with users in a meaningful way.
As passionate as I am about doing great work, I also understand that it doesn’t happen in a vacuum. In addition to client projects, I’m passionate about internal studio culture, supporting teams, creating safe spaces for communication and feedback, and growing practice expertise in order to ensure a happy, healthy, and inspired team.
I’m excited about thought-leadership and external knowledge sharing and helped set up the event The Case for Inclusivity. I previously taught Design Thinking immersive, Service Design Immersive, and Design Research as a part of Designit’s Professional Education (formerly Cooper Professional Education) program, and have guest lectured about Design Research at Pratt Institute.
